Overview
A CAS experience is a specific event in which the student engages with one or more of the three CAS strands. CAS experience can be a single event (like a beach clean-up on a Saturday morning - Service) OR may be an extended series of events (like hosting coding workshops for middle school students - Creativity and Service).
A CAS project is a collaborative series of sequential CAS experiences lasting at least one month. The key to understanding the project is thinking of these two factors: frequency + duration.
Your two-year CAS programme will consist of planned/unplanned singular and ongoing experiences, and one major project that consists of a series of planned CAS experiences.
