Parent Association

Welcome to  AISJ,

We have an amazing international community here at AISJ.  Whether you are brand new to South Africa or have been here for years, we welcome you to the team.

The Johannesburg Parent Association (PA) works with the school community to organize and sponsor social events and activities to help families, students, and the entire campus to continue to build a strong supportive community.  We are a self-funding organization that uses the funds we raise to enhance the experience of AISJ students, as well as support those less privileged in our local community through the school's service learning projects. As a parent of an AISJ student at the Johannesburg Campus, you are automatically a part of the Johannesburg PA. We have many volunteer opportunities and welcome your input and suggestions on how we can best serve the community.

 In the Elementary School, we help with special school events such as Field Day and World Read Aloud Day.  Parents enjoy volunteering at these events because they get to see their children at school, and the children love seeing their parents there, as well.  The PA also runs several family fun events throughout the year.  Some of the highlighted events are the Halloween Night, Mistletoe Market, and Family Fun Day!

 We have PA WhatsApp groups for each class that are run by the room parent.  In these groups, you will get reminders of PA and school events, and have a chance to connect with other parents from your child's class. Please scan the QR code of the class that your child is in to be added to the group.
