The Activities and Athletics division is an integral part of AISD’s mission to challenge students to achieve their potential. We believe that by engaging students in a comprehensive activities and athletic program enables them to become better school and community members and provides opportunities not ordinarily available in the regular curriculum.

A wide variety of academic and arts activities are offered, along with a variety of clubs and service opportunities that provide students with multiple avenues to explore their interests and passions. Participation in activities and athletics promotes leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, goal-setting and other valuable life skills.

Activities and athletics are an essential part of a holistic approach encompassing the intellectual, emotional, physical, social and spiritual elements of each student.
