Biodiversity Conservation Program
Objective:
This program, in partnership with GICAR-Cam, aims to preserve the biodiversity of local ecosystems while raising awareness among the population about the importance of nature conservation. We focus on protecting endangered species and restoring natural habitats.
Main Activities:
Organize awareness campaigns for local communities on environmentally friendly practices.
Carry out reforestation activities in degraded areas to restore ecosystems.
Work with experts to monitor and protect endangered species in the region.
Train young people to become biodiversity ambassadors in their communities.
Expected Impact:
The program is expected to contribute to the protection of several endemic species and the restoration of 50 hectares of forests in the Central Africa region, while strengthening environmental awareness among the local population.
Preserving Our Biodiversity:
Hurifba also takes concrete actions to protect rare species by supporting the conservation of natural habitats and fighting against threats such as poaching and ecosystem destruction. We work with local communities to promote sustainable practices that preserve endangered species, while raising public awareness of the importance of biodiversity. Our efforts aim to protect not only endangered species but also to strengthen the resilience of ecosystems to ensure their long-term sustainability.
