Our initiatives include access to quality healthcare, raising awareness of mental health, and disease prevention.
Gender and Inclusion
We work towards gender equality and the empowerment of women through specific projects aimed at improving their access to resources and economic opportunities.
Objective:
This project aims to raise awareness among the Cameroonian population, particularly in rural communities, about degenerative diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The goal is to promote early detection, improve care, and support families affected by these conditions.
Main Activities:
Organize workshops and training sessions for healthcare professionals and caregivers.
Launch awareness campaigns through local media to inform people about early symptoms and available treatment options.
Create support networks for families affected by degenerative diseases, including psychological support and practical advice.
Expected Impact:
The project is expected to improve the quality of life for over 1,000 individuals affected by these diseases in Cameroon, while enhancing the skills of caregivers and reducing the stigma associated with degenerative diseases.
