Compendium Responsibilities
R.4.1 The Member Committee shall be responsible for the management of the Society at the Member level and for that purpose, may give directions to any office bearer of the association to the manner in which, within the law, they shall perform their duties. The Committee shall have the power to approve such sub-committees, as it may seem desirable to make reports to the committee upon which such action shall be taken as seems to the committee to be desirable. This provision shall extend to all operatives of the Association.
R.4.2 Setting direction for the Society in line with its nature and purpose, taking into account the general direction of the Society globally and in consultation and liaison with the Local committees.
R.4.3 Coordination of all programs and activities run by the society.
R.4.4 Administration and improvement of the Global exchange programs
R.4.5 Coordination of the activities of the Local Committees as well as ensuring their stability and development.
R.4.6 Coordination of the reception program.
R.4.7 Communicating with and seeking advice from the Patron, Board of Advisors and the Sponsor Group of Companies.
R.4.8 Selection of representatives of AIESEC Kenya at all international legislative meetings and any other international meetings to which it may have been invited to attend.
R.4.9 Preparation of all relevant financial reports pertaining to the financial operations of the Society and ensuring that they are distributed in good time. R.4.10 Ensuring that mandates of the National Legislative Meetings in respect of the Member Committee are complied with in full.
R.4.11 Undertaking specific responsibilities determined by National Legislative Meetings.
R.4.12 Designing of agenda and final program for National Legislative meetings which shall be circulated to Local Committees no later than two (2) weeks before the National Legislative Meetings together with background for working groups and sub-committees in the case of the National Conference.
R.4.13 Internal communication within the Member Committee and the communication with Local Committees, AIESEC International and other AIESEC Member Committees.
R.4.14 The outgoing Member Committee team is responsible for the funding of the Annual Report and shall accrue the exact amount of its cost. This report should be produced in
collaboration with the incoming Member Committee team by June 30th (July 31st).
R.4.15 Administering the Central Finance System.
R.4.16 The Member Committee shall delegate the responsibility to one of its officials, the function of coordinating and liaising with the AIESEC alumni in Kenya and its related
activities with AIESEC Alumni International.

The Role
Represent AIESEC in Kenya in national and international conferences
Co-create with the national plenary the strategic plan for 22.23
Create spaces and support systems for Local entities
Implement global strategies
Align national strategies to global strategies, delivering a tailored approach to local entities
Attend ALL team spaces with no exceptions
Provide education and support to local entities on national strategies
Communication with AIESEC international
Attend all global virtual and physical meetings
Knowledge & Experience
● Desire to lead and be bold with actions
●English proficiency: Being able to communicate and negotiate in English on an advanced level.
● Functional overview and experience (basic) in all areas; knowing the concerned functional area, and having practical experience in the area.
● Proven ability to work in a team and individually as needed.
MCVP LIFE
The MC Role is a full time role and applicants are advised to ensure that they are able to fully commit for the entire duration. We might include Part timers. Transition shall begin right after selection, while the term begins on 1st August, 2022 and continues till 31st July 2023
The AIESEC in Kenya office is located in University of Nairobi, Mahatma Gandhi Wing, which is within Nairobi Town.
The entire MC team of AIESEC in Kenya, is liable for an MC Stipend, meaning it is a PAID Job, however this is dependent on the financial situation of the entity.
Legalities. Successful International applicants will be required to present university degree papers (for graduates) or a letter from the university showing that they are interning in Kenya, for those yet to graduate.
The structure is subject to change after the selection of the whole team.
