Kenya is a country in East Africa with coastline on the Indian Ocean. It encompasses savannah, lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley and mountain highlands. It's also home to wildlife like lions, elephants and rhinos. From Nairobi, the capital, safaris visit the Maasai Mara Reserve, known for its annual wildebeest migrations, and Amboseli National Park, offering views of Tanzania's 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro. The country's major agricultural exports are tea, coffee, cut flowers, and vegetables. Kenya is the world's leading exporter of black tea and cut flowers. Kenya's high rainfall areas constitute about 10% of Kenya's arable land and produce 70% of its national commercial agricultural output. Natural resources and minerals found abundantly in Kenya include zinc, soda ash, salt, limestone, gemstones, gypsum, fluorspar, diatomite, hydropower, petrol, hydropower, and different resources that have great commercial significance, like rare earth elements.

With a long history of musical, literature and artistic expression, Kenya enjoys a rich tradition of culture and Kenya is home to the world’s best long-distance runners. In particular, the country’s Kalenjin people have produced many world record breaking athletes and long-distance runners, known for dominating marathon circuits worldwide.
Kenya is known for being the world’s best safari destination, with 50 epic national parks and reserves that are home to diverse wildlife, including the Big Five – lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalo. In short, we are pretty awesome people!
AIESEC in Kenya was established in 1970 and has produced thousands of AIESEC Alumni who have gone on to great heights nationally and internationally. AIESEC in Kenya currently has 8 Local Committees and Expansions and a membership of over 300 individuals. AIESEC in Kenya is one of the best entities in the Middle East and Africa Region.
The Members of the MC are required to live in Nairobi for the entire duration of their term. The MC office is located in The University of Nairobi, Mahatma Gandhi Wing.
