As an elected Local Committee President, you're required to commit to some things. It's important you understand them now so you can begin to prepare your mind towards that. Below you'd find some things you should know about, and you'd get updated as time goes.
If and when elected, Presidents will be required to commit to the transitioning program designed by the National OD team.
It is required that you go through the transitioning phase which cover both knowledge/competence transfer/upskilling and shadowing of the current LCP.

Regardless of your current role, if you intend to apply for LCP, you are required to attend the National Alignment Conference coming up on September 25th.
If you're not a team leader, please contact your LCP so they can make arrangements with the conference manager on how you can attend.
If and when elected, Presidents will be required to dedicate time, and effort in to selecting the best persons for their executive board.
There will be a national timeline and president-elects will need to synergize with the current presidents, the Electoral Committee and the National office through their LC Coach.
If and when elected, Presidents will be required to attend the coming National Training and Motivation Seminar as there will be a specific track for president-elects.
Attendance is mandatory except in extraordinary situations where the MCP reserves the right to excuse such person.

If and when elected, Presidents will be required to attend the coming National Strategic Meeting which has the profile as Presidents alone.
