Each year, things change a bit in SpEd Forms due to updates from the programmers. We also make changes within our district to help make things more efficient. If you are a continuing Anoka Hennepin User of SpEd Forms, please review the information below.
Changes in SpEd Forms for 2025-26
Another new piece to this year is the fact that Viewpoint is no longer being supported in our district. This is where general education teachers would go to view IEP Snapshots. This access has been replaced by putting these documents into the Documents tab in Synergy. Directions for accessing these documents have been created by our Synergy support team.

During this transition time where SpEd Forms is updating their software from SpEd Forms 1.0 to 2.0, there currently are 2 different ways you'll need to know to translate documents. There are documents where both the English version and all of the translations are both "new style" or SpEd Forms 2.0. There are also documents where the English version is 2.0, but the translated version are 1.0. I call these the "old style". The two videos below walk you through how to translate each style of document.
With the move to SpEd Forms, some of our most common language has changed when talking about forms. For example, what we used to call a Significant Change in DPRS is now called an Amendment. For this and other language changes check out this DPRS vs. SpEd Forms Terminology document!

Secondary Due Process Policies and Procedures
Before you leave for the summer (if you are leaving), we need your help making sure that you have all of your student's documents completed and finalized. There is additional clean up that should be done as well. All of it is outlined in End of the Year SpEd Forms Cleanup for Case Managers.
