Many schools will offer automatic merit scholarships based on your application & GPA when you apply.
Students should also go to each college's scholarship website and apply for additional scholarships through the school.
Most 4-year colleges have their scholarship deadlines in Jan-Feb.
Most 2-year collegs have their scholarship windows from Feb-April.
Here are some popular college scholarship sites, but you can google to find your school's scholarship page.
Think about what you've been involved with in your youth. Reach out to any organizations to see if they have scholarships for graduating seniors, find out the deadline, and apply!
Religious organization
Youth Sports (Soderville, BYHA, BATBA, etc.)
Community orgs (4H, Boy/Girl Scouts, etc.)
Parent Employer
STEP Scholarship (for any student who has ever taken a STEP class!)
Blaine High School Community Scholarship
The application for this year's program will be available on the BHS website in March. Applicants who are selected for scholarships are required to attend the award ceremony being held in May.
