Inspiration

A Home for Healing is dedicated to my mom who passed in June 2022. “Mama Mel” wasn't just my mom, she was a mom to everyone. Her contagious energy made others feel safe, secure, and supported. When she walked into a room she changed it. She opened her heart and home to anyone who needed it, whenever they needed it. Mama Mel’s inviting and non-judgmental attitude made her a natural connector of people and she was gifted at making everyone feel their most authentic self. My mom created a nurturing physical home and she herself was a home for love and healing.
