We are meant to shine our truest light fully and bravely in this world. - Laura Lynne Jackson
She/Her/Hers
Owner & Clinical Therapist
With a connective and inquisitive mindset, I seek to understand others through a holistic and trauma informed lens. I believe the mind and body connection is essential to living a meaningful and fulfilling life. With a practical and humorous nature, I collaborate with you to discover healing and transformation when faced with demanding life events. Self development and empowerment begin with a trusting, open, therapeutic relationship and I structure my practice around these values.
I have extensive experiences providing services to a diverse range of individuals across multiple settings which has equipped me with an integrated approach to therapy. I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work in 2016 and later continued my post graduate education by becoming a Certified School Social Worker. I am EMDR basic trained through EMDRIA and value collaboration and consultation with other professionals to be knowledgeable and informed.
I am passionate about guiding others, as well as volunteering my personal time to animals in need. I rescued Frida, an English Bulldog, and provide a loving environment for many other dogs by fostering for Chicago English Bulldog Rescue. I enjoy igniting my soul with music while supporting artists and attending concerts as well as seeing new places and doing new things while traveling.
I look forward to building a therapeutic relationship and would be honored to play a role in your healing journey.Â
