Q1) Why are you sending emails to people regarding Granada Islamic School election?
Muslim organizations do not offer communication platform to know or reach out to target voters.
Q2) This is a volunteer work, why are you taking it so seriously, creating a website and reaching out frequently?
I am handling it with the same quality and care I follow in doing regular work projects while spreading awareness on various priorities that are of vital importance to our Muslim community.
Q3) With your busy schedule, do you have the time and energy to get things done?
Yes proper execution demands effective time management, group collaboration and reasonable harmony.
Q4) Are you optimistic?
With the endorsements and confidence of our eldest wise community members, and with the energy and enthusiasm from many key stakeholders including board members and parents I am very optimistic.
Q5) Are you trying through the survey to evaluate the school operation or administration?
Quite untrue. The survey is seeking feedback on my electability and stated vision, priorities, projects, etc.
Q6) How important is GIS to you?
I entrust GIS teachers and administration for my daughters and also do 200 + or - other Muslim families.
Q7) How important is GIS to our community?
A process to build effective future leaders with strong Muslim identities and ready to serve their country and all of humanity.
Q8) Is Islamic Education risky?
Living in a bubble, compromising on soft skills and personal qualities, negative cultural behaviors such as bullying, disrespect and racial issues.
Q9) Are Muslims capable of building successful organization at scale?
Yes, but to a certain limit sometimes and the aim is to collectively raise that bar higher.
Q10) Are you facing any specific pressure or difficulties?
The community is often sensitive to new changes and some reactions can be concerning. But, overall I remain on the positive side.
