Contact the Counseling Office:
Transfer students must contact the Counseling Office to initiate the process of GPA verification.
GPA Creation and Verification:
The Counseling Office will create and verify the student’s GPA based on their transferred credits and coursework. This step is essential since transfer student GPAs are not automatically available in the system.
Notification:
Once the GPA verification process is complete, the Counseling Office will notify the student of their eligibility status.
Submission Deadline:
To be considered for NHS, transfer students must complete the GPA verification process and submit all required documentation by the NHS application deadline.
Application Deadline is closed.
Acceptance or Denial emails will be sent on Friday 1/16/2026
Any appeals must be made before 4pm on Thursday 1/22/2026
Invitational letters will be dispersed to eligible applicants at the end of October. These invitations will be sent through the student's email. PLEASE be sure to check the Junk Mail folders.
Requirements for an invitation is a weighted GPA of 95.0 or higher and a current junior or senior, please see your counselor for more information.
Mandatory informational meeting is held in November. There will be two meetings to choose from you must attend one.
