Anita Ouedraogo

Rev. Anita Ouédraogo, originally from Minnsota, attended high school in South Dakota, before moving to Palo Alto, CA to work and attend junior college. She then transferred to San Jose State University (SJSU) where she graduated in 1972 with a B.S. in Business Administration. In 1977, Rev. Anita and her family moved to Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso) and spent ten years there before moving to Niger where she also stayed 10 years. Anita worked for the Agency for International Development while living overseas.

In 1996, after Rev. Anita and her family relocated to Oceanside, CA she worked for a community health center in administration, and remained there as assistant to the President of the company until her retirement. During this time, Anita worked in ministry, and in 2015, she received her Master in Theology: Biblical Studies from a small bible college in Oceanside, and following graduation was ordained as a minister of the gospel of Christ.

In 2015, Anita and Greg moved to NC and Rev. Anita began working at Crossing Red Sea Ministries where her daughter was Founder and Pastor. Rev. Anita was later appointed to serve as Sr. Associate Pastor. Rev. Anita is a certified Christian life coach, and trained in essentials of palliative care for chaplains. She has completed several classes in biblical studies with Dallas Theological Seminary. Rev. Anita and her husband of 50 years have five children and eight grandchildren.
