we value community

We find ourselves in an ever-changing world where the jobs of today will likely no longer be around tomorrow; where the careers of our children are yet to be invented. In such uncertainty, it is important not to lose sight of community. Community means commonwealth, it connotes solidarity, commonality and togetherness. Community is what helps to form the individual so it matters that individuals uplift and uphold positive community endeavors and relationships.

crossing red sea ministries

Crossing from darkness to light, we press forward -

Walking a Spirit-filled life with the divine purpose of establishing His Kingdom; finding our identity as a people of power and authority through Jesus Christ; embarking on a journey of liberty by being set free and delivered through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

- Serving and building together, one-by-one, family-to-village, and village to the nations.

art by alyce

The biggest factor to have influenced my life’s philosophy and love for art is my heritage. I was born overseas to an American mother and an African father though my ethnic diversity spans across a couple more continents. I have the utmost respect for diversity and crave meaningfulness and reason. Since the world doesn’t always offer these things, I look to art to pour out frustrations and other such feelings.

Art by Alyce s a work of love and hope. It is indeed sell-able, wearable art (art in the form of words, drawings, photographs and the like) that uses some of its proceeds for work in the community.

Son of December

Finding solitude in our contemporary invasive world is an ongoing task. An escape from the terrible and mundane provides a mandatory requiem. Models of creativity produce my catharsis and an outlet for my voice. This blog is one of corners where I find that solitude, that escape, that cathartic release of my voice.
