Meet Info and Time Standards

Millennium High School is an AIA Division 1 Competitive Swim Team.

Millennium High School Swimmers will compete in 6 regular season meets and 4 additional invitationals that serve as state qualifiers. Only times earned at state qualifiers will qualify individuals and relays for the state championship meet. Athletes must meet the qualifying time or event standard and be in the top 4o in that event to qualify for state. Relays need to be in the top 30. Prelims will be on Friday of the 2 day championship meet with finals being on Saturday. All relays will be on Saturday and be run as timed final events.

Impact

In all qualifiers teams shall be limited to 4 athletes per individual event (including diving) & 2 relays per relay event.

Athletes are limited to entering & participating in no more than 2 individual events (diving counts as 1 individual event) and 2 relays or 1 individual event & 3 relays. An athlete who exceeds the entry limits shall be disqualified from the event(s) that go beyond the limits.

Varsity Letter Requirements:

Athletes must meet 2 of the following individual time standards in either a regular season meet, invite, or state meet competition. If the athlete is on a Varsity A relay team that qualifies for the state meet, this swimmer will automatically earn the Varsity Letter.
