The vision of the Canyon View High School counseling program is for all students to achieve their future personal, academic, and life goals beyond high school. With an innovative mindset, all students will be able to identify their challenges and utilize their strengths, skills and resources to achieve success. All students will promote healthy, affirming relationships and the dignified treatment of their diverse communities.
The mission of Canyon View High School counseling program is to provide access to an equitable, data-informed, comprehensive school counseling program. In collaboration with students, families, school staff, and community partners, we will promote academic success, social and emotional growth, and post-secondary achievement of life-goals for all students.

As School Counselors, we maintain strict confidentiality in all of our interactions. All meetings held with the school counselor will remain confidential unless the student gives permission to share information with related parties. However, circumstances do arise where we must disclose information to appropriate professionals. Reasons for breaking confidentiality are but not limited to: a student is in danger of harming themselves, another individual, or if a student is in danger of being harmed by others.
