Our secure option allows you to input your details through your phone and you do not have to say them over the phone with any of the operators. It will be unavailable for viewing from our end.
Credit Card Handling (Zero Tolerance Policy)
Never ask for or accept a customer’s credit card details verbally or manually over the phone.
Do not type, write down, repeat, record, or store any card information (card number, CVV, expiry date) at any time.
Always direct customers to the approved secure payment method.
This is a Zero Tolerance Policy (ZTP) violation. Any breach will result in immediate termination, effective the same day.
If a customer insists on sharing card details, politely refuse and guide them to the secure option.
New "Text It" Payment Feature Update (02/07/2026)
HotelPlanner rolled out a new enhancement to the "Text It" option that allows customers to complete their payment entirely on their own (don't worry, you still receive credit for the reservation). When you send the SMS payment link, the customer can now review all reservation details and enter their payment information directly from their device. Going forward, it is important to ensure that all reservation details are fully recapped during the call before sending the payment link. When you are ready to send the SMS, please use the following language:
"I'm going to text you a secure payment link. Please click the link, review your reservation details, and enter your payment information. Once you select 'Complete Booking,' your reservation will be finalized, and I'll be able to provide your confirmation number."
Customers will also have the option to pay using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, in addition to a credit card.
Agents must complete a full recap before sending the SMS link. Non-compliance will result in ZTP.
