Trust - They don't trust you. They do not want to do credit card payments online. They may not know about the Secure Pay option. They are happy to pay cash and thought we do not have "Pay at the hotel" options.
How does it sound?
"I want to speak directly to the hotel". "I don't do credit card payments over the phone. I am not comfortable".
How we respond.
"We are hotel partners working with the hotel and we directly communicate your booking to them? Do you have specific requests or preferences I can assistwith now?"
"Our secure payment options allow you to input your details through your phone and you do not have to say them over the phone. It will be unavailable for viewing from our end. Alternatively, we can check if you will be able to pay at the hotel."
