🧠 February Mental Health & Wellness Tip
February is often associated with love and kindness, but it can also bring social pressures for students. This month is a great time to focus on empathy, connection, and self-compassion.
Families can support students by creating small moments to notice and name emotions. Try asking questions like, “What made you feel supported today?” or “When did you show kindness to yourself or someone else?” These simple check-ins help build emotional awareness and remind students that all feelings are valid.
Modeling self-kindness at home, such as talking about taking breaks, asking for help, or practicing patience, also shows students that caring for mental health is an important part of everyday life.
