Healthy Eating in School
Key Stage 1 children all receive a piece of fruit at morning break as part of the Government run ‘Schools Fruit and Vegetable Scheme’ and children in Key Stage 2 are more than welcome to bring in a piece of fruit from home if they wish.
We would encourage children who have packed lunch to try and have a ‘healthy lunch’. It has been noticed that there is a lot of chocolate and even sweets being put in packed lunch boxes. As a school we really try and encourage health and well being and would appreciate your support with this. Please find below ideas for a ‘healthy’ lunch box. Let’s try and keep all our children fit and healthy!
