School Reopening - 18th May 2020

Please see the letter which has been sent to all parents today. It outlines some of our plans to begin the process of reopening for provision for children in Reception, year 1 and Year 6, to support vulnerable children and those in families with key workers.

School Closures - 19th March 2020 Update

Please see the letter which has been sent to all parents today. It outlines some of our plans to remain open to support vulnerable children and those in families with key workers. At the time of writing we are still awaiting a definition of how to categorise "key workers" and whether one or both parents need to fall into this category.

Please read the letter below first (2 pages).

School Closures - 18th March 2020 Update

Please be assured that we have been intensively planning our response should the government decide that schools should close. We now need to finalise our plans, but please be assured that as soon as we have information available to parents, we will be communicating it through the normal channels.

We anticipate remaining open for all of the children until the end of Friday. Arrangements for those that will still be able to attend school now need to be planned carefully. By Friday we will have a lot more information for you.

In the meantime, I request that you please do not contact the school with general queries. All our staff will be tied up in planning our response and in making sure that the children are happy, safe and reassured during their remaining time in school. We will therefore only have the capacity to respond to emergencies at the present time.

Thanks again for your patience and support in these truly extraordinary times.

Mr Hawkins
