Montgomery Achieved Platinum award!

After another fantastic year of sport, we are delighted to announce that our sports department have been awarded the School Games "Platinum" kitemark! Thank you to everyone who has helped us throughout the year and made it possible!

Handball 3rd place!

Our year 5/6 Handball team finished in 3rd place, narrowly missing out on qualifying for the finals despite playing so well all tournament! Well done Samir, Ahdam, Umayma, Zainab, Zain, Yusef, Asad and Usman!

Tri Golf bronze medalists!

We took a team of year 3 children to participate in a tri golf tournament at Hatchford Brooks Golf Centre where they played well and had a great time and came home with the bronze medals after finishing in 3rd place! Great stuff Ahmed, Mayram, Fatima, Fatir, Musa, Anaya, Zainab, Eisha, Sala and Ilyas!

Gold for Montgomery again!

The Montgomery Sports department have been awarded gold by the School Games for the 2017/2018 year! Thanks to all the teachers, teaching assistants and children for your support in helping us get a hat-trick of gold!

Tri-Golf bronze medalists!

In the Tri-Golf competition we participated in we played really well and finished in 3rd place overall! Good work Yasmin, Yaseen, Aisha, Amiira, Riaz, Usman, Munyah, Isa, Fatima, Ezaan and Jannath!

High 5 netball 2nd place!

At the High 5 Netball competition we attended at Starbank school we performed to such a high standard and finished in 2nd place and took home the silver medals! Well done everyone!

Tag Rugby 2nd place!

We took a tag rugby team to compete in a tournament at Oasis Academy Hobmoor and they played brilliantly to finish in 2nd place on the day and qualify for the ultimate finals! Well done Rehan, Nafis, Yusef, Isa, Leyla, Aina, Anum, Hamza and Hasnain!

Boccia & Kurling 3rd in groups!

Junaid, Azhar, Ibraheem, Izhaan, Halima, Rayhan, Ismail, Mikhail and Aleena made up our Boccia and Kurling teams who finished in 3rd place in their respective groups at Sutton Coldfield College on Tuesday 19th March!

Dance bronze medalists!

Our Dance team performed brilliantly and finished in 3rd place in their festival at Yardley's school! Well done Munyah, Sala, Samaamah, Bushra, Fatima, Hajrah and Laybah!

Basketball 4th place!

Haroon, Samir, Umayma, Sala, Leyla and Haroon all played brilliantly but narrowly missed out on a medal each as they finished in 4th place at the Basketball tournament we competed in.

Dodgeball 2nd place!

Our dodgeball team of Samir, Ibrahim, Hamza, Anum and Aina finished in 2nd place in the tournament we entered and they each took home a silver medal!

Year 3 & 4 Gymnastics winners!

Congratulations to to Rahaf, Delia, Abdullah, Salmo, Anaya and Muntas who made up our Gymnastics team who finished in 1st place in their competition on Tuesday 5th December! Our other team, Muhannad, Maryam, Murad, Raiyan, Hilal and Hajrah, finished in 4th place, narrowly missing out on the bronze medals by 5 points!

2nd place in Year 3 & 4 Athletics!

Well done to Fatima, Aizah, Alina, Athika, Hajrah, Rahaf, Ayesha, Amaan, Rizwaan, Mustafa, Eshan, Saad, Harun and Adil who represented Montgomery in an Athletics competition and took home the silver medals after finishing in 2nd place overall!

Panathlon 5th place!

We took a Panathlon team to Nechells Wellbeing centre where they finished in 5th place overall! Well played Govindrai, Etna, Zeeshan, Ibraheem, Izhaan, Azhar and Shaima!

Athletics 6th place!

Our athletics team performed brilliantly and finished in 6th place overall on the day! Well done Asad, Nafis, Adam Riaz, Mario, Rehan, Anum, Yasmin, Sumaiyah, Leyla, Laiqa, Laybah, Rabia, Isa, Sohaib, Kashif, Haroon, Sala and Innayah!

Boys footballers 1st place!

Our year 5 and 6 footballers won their tournament at Oasis Academy Hobmoor on Tuesday 31st October after beating Parkfield school in a dramatic penalty shoot-out in the final! Well done Nafis, Haroon, Rehan, Ahdam, Hamza, Rayman and Zain!

Girls footballers win silver medals!

Well done to Sala, Umayma, Laybah, Yasmin, Leyla, Zainab and Nadia who are our Girls football team who finished 2nd in the tournament at Small Heath School on Tuesday 17th October! Yasmin and Umayma were also awarded the "Honesty" badges by the match referees!
