Music

As part of our music curriculum, Y2, Y4 and Y5 work with the Birmingham Music Service and Nursery, Reception, Y1, Y3 and Y6 work with a specialist staff member. Singing in school is developed through assemblies and the recent introduction of a new choir, led by specialist staff. During Music teaching, staff are expected to remain in class and support pupils when they are taught, to enhance their own CPD.

Enhanced Provision

We regularly take part in concerts at the Birmingham Symphony Hall and work closely with the Birmingham Music Service and the Birmingham Hippodrome. We also offer extra lessons to KS2 pupils after school and perform alongside other schools.
