EYFS Local Music Partners
Project Aims
1) Conduct an audit of current provision to create an overview of what is working well and what can be improved
2) Develop the confidence, knowledge and expertise of EYFS staff in delivering music
3) Provide holistic EYFS music CPD to increase teacher confidence and delivery
4) Build on schools strengths and areas for development identified in the audit
5) Where necessary, advise on subject leadership and building the right infrastructure for music to flourish.
6) Empower each practitioner with a range of developmentally appropriate songs and games
7) Support each school with their music development plan and long term sustainable aims
8) Help schools to achieve ELG and development matters goals through musical activity
9) Reflect on practice through video review and suggest improvements as a team
10) Review the process and identify what has worked well, and what could be improved should the project be repeated with a different cluster of schools
