Why Feversham?

Feversham is rated Outstanding in all areas by OFSTED because "The headteacher is relentless in his drive to ensure that all pupils achieve their best. His passion and vision for developing the ‘whole child’ is infectious. He has created a staff team which shares and delivers his ambition for all pupils to thrive academically and emotionally."

Feversham has art, drama, maths, music, P.E. and science specialist teachers who teach all pupils to ensure that all "pupils make very strong and sustained progress in a range of subjects". The specialist teachers also help the staff gain more subject knowledge as well as knowledge about the best way to teach the subjects.

Feversham has a "creative and well-thought-out curriculum ... (which) makes a significant contribution to developing pupils’ very positive attitudes to learning and outcomes ... with a wide range of opportunities to extend their experiences and learning beyond the classroom" and become "extremely polite and courteous ".

Feversham has an excellent reputation for the teaching of music. This reputation is not just only across the UK, but is world-wide. We are not only reported on, mentioned as a good example by leading educational specialists, but regularly help other schools develop by being asked to provide articles, videos and training to visitors from many countries.

We inspire to ...

We commit to being big-hearted. We choose to treat each other with kindness, warmth and care, believing that everybody matters and believing in one another.

We always strive to push the limits. We don't settle for less than excellent and we won't allow our students to either. We resolve to overcome any self-imposed limits.

We choose to be unusually brave. We're not afraid to challenge wrongs, to make the right call, even when it's both unusual and difficult to do so.

We are on the search for discovering what's possible. We look to create 'eureka moments' for our students, helping them discover a world of possibilities and opportunities.
