Prevent

Since 1st July 2015, there has been a duty on schools to have 'due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism'. This is called Prevent duty. You can view the Prevent Duty advice for Schools by downloading the document below.

All staff at Ashingdon have been trained using the National Online Safety Prevent Duty training materials.

This school is aware of its duty under the Prevent Guidelines. We fulfill this duty through a broad and balanced curriculum and upholding fundamental British Values.
