Our SU will start in Tallinn. By far the simplest way to get to Tallinn is directly to Tallinn airport. You can also travel via Riga or Helsinki as well. More info...
European Night (EN) is a traditional AEGEE social activity where everyone brings some snacks (e.g. chocolates, cookies) and drinks from their country and maybe a flag or other meaningful symbols. You can also prepare a song or a dance to present to others. We won’t have the possibility to cook but preparing cold foods is possible. You should coordinate with other people from your country to avoid bringing the same things.
As written before we are spending a few nights in the countryside. There will be the possibility to wash (sauna and shower) but you can expect conditions that are a bit more simplistic.
Data and roaming. If you have a valid mobile contract in any EU member state, the same tariff for data usage, calls and messages will apply in other EU member states. However, should you need to buy some extra data/roaming in Estonia, there are quite a few operators that sell prepaid cards for data, calling, and text messaging. Those operators include Tele2 (https://tele2.ee/konekaart) and Elisa (https://www.elisa.ee/en/eraklient/koned/konekaart/kuumaksuvaba-konekaart). These can be bought in R-Kiosks, bigger supermarkets and gas stations. These days there is also always the option of e-sims of course.
Covid info - There are currently no COVID-related restrictions in Estonia, however, keep in mind that some airlines might ask you to wear a mask on the plane.
Money. We are using € in Estonia but there is no need to take cash out, almost every place accepts card payments.
For more information about Estonia, or any of the cities we will be visiting, be sure to take a look at wikitravel! It's a useful resource with information about locations, like history, how to get there, and how to get around.

We have some rules/agreements from the accommodation side and also what we as organisers would like you to know in advance and follow throughout the SU:
No drinking in accommodations of Tartu and Tallinn, including outside of the door - according to Estonian law you can’t drink or smoke on the area of schools or youth centres.
No smoking in any of the buildings or around the buildings of accommodation in Tartu and Tallinn.
No strong alcohol at the countryside accommodation.
Pay attention in the workshops!
Always be on time and follow the instructions of organisers!
No speaking in your own language - we will have a punishment box for those who do. Organisers can also only speak Estonian when discussing organisational matters.
Don’t be mean in the gossip box!
Take care of others and never leave anything behind.
Always let the organisers know when you’re leaving the party or leaving the group.
