At the end of our school day, the Erasmus group met, around 6.pm. at the airport SáCarneiro. We made the check in and waited for the departure. The flight was calm and fast and finally we landed in Bilbao, where we stayed in flats and anxious to start our adventure the next day. We were eager to visit the city.

On 28th May we visited the city of Bilbao and took lots of photos, as it is very beautiful. We went to the Riverside Market, the Abando Station and the Guggenheim museumand at the entrance there was a huge dog decorated with flowers.

We also walked along the rivers and bridges mainly one called Zubizuri bridge. Along our walk through the city we witnessed many urban art monuments like Mamá.

Afterwards we rode the funicular and stayed for a while on Mount Artxanda, watching the magnificent landscape and we had lunch at a local shopping mall. In the afternoonwe went to the market to buy some goods for the rest of our stay in BILBAO.

Finally we returned to the hotel where we all had dinner together.

On 29th May we said goodbye to Bilbao and headed for Ondorroa.

Already in Ondorroa, we had lunch in a local restaurant, where we tried typical dishes of the Basque countries.

While we were waiting for the students from Mutriku, and as the weather was fine, we made a short visit to the beach.

Around 6 p.m. in the afternoon, the teachers and students, who were going to take us to the destination of Mutriku arrived.

There we swam in a very popular pool, we all had dinner together and finally, everyone went to sleep in their temporary home.

Tuesday 31th May

On this day we all went to school at 8am, we were received by teachers, at 9 a.m. we visited the school and then we took a Group photo .

At 9:45 we catched the bus to Ondarroa, when we arrived we had to choose the activity we were going to do: walk along the coast from Ondarroa to Mutriku or go to Mutriku through the mountain. We all chose the coast, except two teachers so, as most of us wanted to go by the coast, we all went there. When we finished our walk along the coast we went to the beach. At 2p.m we went home for lunch.

At 4p.m. we all went to the bus stop to catch a bus to Ondarroa. When we arrived we walked to a place, very far from where we were, where there were canoes and paddle surfing and we used that to walk along the river and get to a beach in Ondarroa.

At 7:30p.m. we went to Hotel Arrigori to have dinner and we ate traditional food from each country. Our traditional food was Vermicelli and French toast.

At 10p.m. it was time to go back home to Mutriku. And so ended another day of travel.
