“Ligtas Ang May Alam Caravan: Barangay Health Workers in Hypertension Control Training" This program targets to emphasize, encourage, and empower individuals to practice healthy habits to combat and control HPN. The program is dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and skills of the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) stationed at the Barangay Dumaloglog Health Station. Central to this initiative is a comprehensive lecture session, which provides in-depth instruction on how to accurately measure blood pressure (BP) and other vital signs. This theoretical training is followed by a hands-on return demonstration, allowing participants to apply what they've learned in a practical setting. The return demonstration not only ensures that the BHWs have thoroughly understood the lecture material but also provides them with the opportunity to refine and enhance their skills through practice.

Malnutrition has been one of the pressing problems in the community. In the status quo, far-flung areas like Dumalogdog, Sindangan has been experiencing this problem. Based on house-to-house assessment, the number of identified malnourished children has been continuously rising. This rise can be attributed to the increasing trends of food insecurity within the mentioned community.
Tied with this, is the unending problem on the financial capacity of the identified households to provide the appropriate food options for their children. This means that combatting food insecurity, and increasing their financial capacity should be prioritized if we wanted to reverse this trend.
