Access to primary healthcare remains a significant issue in the Philippines. This is mostly related to the lack of and unequal distribution of health facilities across several regions of the nation.
In Ateneo de Zamboanga University - School of Medicine, we believe that healthcare is a fundamental right. We bring this virtue as we set foot to the land of greens and blues, Dumalogdog, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, where we journeyed with the people, appreciating their strengths, and learning their struggles.
