We are on the move to push for Baskog nga Eskwelahan in Dumalogdog
On the 27th day of February 2023, Baskog nga Dumalogdog visited Dumalogdog National High School for a courtesy visit. During this visit, we were able to meet with Ma'am Marissa Canastra, the School Principal of DNHS. We were also able to have a conversation with Ma'am Judilyn Senarillos, the Clinic In-Charge. They were able to share the common health problems that DNHS is facing as well as the concerns that they wanted to address.
In Baskog nga Dumalogdog, we believe that schools are vital avenues in the promotion of health and wellness among children. Children who are unwell are more likely to experience issues at school than pupils who are healthy. School failure, grade retention, and dropout are more likely for students who are in poor health.
We hope that we will be able to foster a sustainable partnership with schools in the future, mga ka-Baskog!
