Honors is a distinguished title noted at graduation and notable on future applications and resumes; therefore, careful consideration is given to those candidates who hold their work, character, and consistency to the highest standard.
Honors recipients will be determined by a panel of Adrian High School staff who review the applicant's portfolio and Senior Project as a whole. Honors is also based on the candidate's behavior, attitude, attendance, grades, participation, character, and etc. throughout the year.
Honors Requirements:
Job shadows must accumulate to 20 hours
16 hours in student's main career choice
2 hours in each secondary career choice
Physical Project is a minimum of 10 accumulated hours
Honors application essay*
Research paper must be 8-10 pages
Honors Essay:
2-page minimum, double-spaced, addressed to the Senior Boards judges
