Hadestown is a Tony-winning musical that reimagines the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, setting it in a post-apocalyptic, Depression-era, New Orleans-inspired world. It follows singer-songwriter Orpheus’s quest to rescue his lover, Eurydice, from a hellish industrial underworld managed by Hades and Persephone.
