Marching band is far more than just playing music on a football field—it is an exhilarating mix of live performance, competitive team sports, and a tight-knit family. Joining means becoming part of a massive, synchronized production where every person is essential, making it one of the most rewarding activities you can experience.

I chose band because I liked the idea of playing an instrument. We're all like a family and we are tolerate of eachother. My favorite part of band is the memories at band camp and all the fun things we do. If you like band then join but are not sure of a sport then this is a good in-between.

My brother initially got me into band. He made the camaraderie of marching band seem like so much fun. I was originally going to be in percussion but It was our current coach that got me into color guard at an 8th grade fair because I was wearing her shirt. I was the only freshman color guard member that year and it was so much fun.

When I was in elementary school I saw the band and I was inspired and I thought it was really cool. I like the environment and people. They're all so welcoming and I feel like I can really be myself around them. It's adds a whole other level to your life and it brings so much joy
