Narrow your list of colleges to a few...
Detailed research!
Visit/tour campus (during school days)!
Make sure your parents/guardians complete the FAFSA in the fall. This is a MUST.
Get 3 letters of recommendation from teachers, coaches, employers, etc.
Apply (in the fall) to the colleges you've narrowed it down to!
Apply for scholarships (at the institution you will attend, as well as all the local and other scholarships you qualify for).

Research, research, research careers! Be informed, and find something that's right for you!
You may find that the career that most interests you requires some trade or technical schooling.
Continue building and updating your resume.
Network with professionals. Connect with people involved in the career(s) that interest you most. Better yet...
Job shadow! See and feel firsthand if that career is truly "for you"! This should become the main component of your senior project (done in Sr. English second semester).
Practice: job applications, interviews, etc.
