AHS Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate, all students must...

    1. pass the required 24.5 credits.

      • course requirements (1 semester= .5 credit): English (4), Social Studies (3), Math (3), Science (3), PE/Health (2), Fine Arts (2), World Language (2), Career & Technical Ed (1.5), Additional Electives (4)

    2. pass the state tests (Smarter Balanced Assessments) or approved alternatives to those tests.

    3. complete a "High School & Beyond Plan."

    4. complete a Culminating Senior Project (done in Senior English class).

Family Resources for State Graduation Requirements


In order to graduate with "Honors" (3.5+ gpa) or "Highest Honors" (3.8+ gpa) from Adna HS, a student's course work must include...

    • 4 years of science, 4 years of math (through a college-level course), and 2 years of a foreign language.
