Inauguration and Handover Ceremony of OSIS and MPK

Purwakarta, February 24, 2025 – Following the flag-raising ceremony, hundreds of students from SMPN 1 Purwakarta participated in the inauguration of the Student Council (OSIS) and Class Representative Assembly (MPK) board members for the 2025-2026 period. Prior to this, the elected OSIS and MPK members had undergone a two-day Student Leadership Basic Training (LDKS) link.

The inauguration began with the recitation of the oath and pledge by the OSIS and MPK board members. This was followed by the announcement of the names of the newly appointed board members—students recognized for their outstanding achievements and deemed capable of carrying out their responsibilities to lead and represent their peers. Subsequently, the handover of leadership took place, symbolized by passing the baton from the previous board members to the new ones.

The event concluded with a group photo session and a friendly gathering between the outgoing and incoming board members, along with the teachers. This inauguration was not just a formal transition of leadership but also a symbol of regeneration and unity among the students of SMPN 1 Purwakarta. It is hoped that the new board members will bring innovation and positive energy to make the school even better in the future.
