• Approved - to the best of our understanding, the app complies with the law.
• Parental Consent - to the best of our understanding, the app complies with the law, but teachers must obtain parent permission. There are forms available here.
• Unvetted - the app has not been reviewed by Adams 14; teachers may use their best judgement as to whether the app complies with the law. Use the App Compliance Tips information to examine the privacy policy of the app.
• Unapproved - teachers cannot use this app with students.
• Caution - see Notes column for explanation.

Use Explanations

• District - the district requires or has made the app available to teachers for student use.
• School - some schools maintain a contract with this provider.
• Teacher - the use of this app is determined by the individual teacher.

Agreement Explanations

• Contract - the district has a signed contract with the vendor.
• On Demand - there is no signed contract, use is based on agreement to the vendor's terms.
• TBD - We have yet to determine if this application requires a contract based on the new guidelines.
