Mr. Stehle is currently in his 14th year at NHS as the Director of Bands and Orchestras at Northglenn High School. Mr. Stehle received his Bachelors in Music Education as well as a Masters in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. He has received numerous accolades including Downbeat Magazine’s Award for Outstanding Jazz Soloist and Outstanding Jazz Combo, Musician of the Year by UMPAPA and the Cleveland Style PHOF. He has performed, and recorded with a variety of musicians that include EWF, Philip Bailey, Larry Dunn, Andrew Woolfolk, Darryl Woolfolk, Bobby Wilson, Carl Fischer, Ron Oswanski, Randy Bell, Disney, and many others. Mr. Stehle also performs for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. In 2005, He had the honor of performing at George Bush’s Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C. and has also performed for former President Barack Obama and First Lady, Michelle Obama. Mr. Stehle is an active performer, educator, composer, arranger, adjudicator, and clinician whose work takes him both locally and internationally.
