Band Programs

All music classes are year long courses. Students that participate in marching band or an honors group must be enrolled in an instrumental class.  Students can take all music classes for all 4 years.  Please have a plan with your counselor.  

Jazz Band: This ensemble plays jazz music in a variety of styles including swing, latin, ballads, funk, and more. There is a heavy focus on improvisation.   

Concert Band: The main non-audition band class for incoming freshman.  We develop skills that can carry student to the next level.  

Symphonic Band: The upper level performance ensemble that also performs for festivals.  You must audition to get into this class, and you are also required to march.
