This was third out of seven reflective log of sophomore year, and I chose the topic off caffeine. I was inspired to do this topic because of how many people I know (including myself) that are addicted to caffeine. This log helped expand my knowledge on the health effects of caffeine and was on of the most interesting log topics I have done.
For my fifth reflective log of sophomore year, I chose the topic of muscle paralysis. I wanted to do this topic because I know someone very close to me that was in an accident and got paralysed, so I wanted to research muscle paralysis and how it works to expand my knowledge and learn more about what it could be like for those who struggle with it.
This project was an oportunity to deconstruct and old paper shredder and create a new contraption out of the left over parts. My group took an old paper shredder, and used the motor and the base of the shredder to create a contraption that would move a ping pong ball into a box at least 10 feet away.
