Registered Acupuncturist and TCM Doctor
Graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and worked in a famous orthopedics hospital – Jishuitan Hospital of Beijing as resident for 6 years. Practice acupuncture and Chinese medicine in Greater Vancouver area since 2000.
Dr. Song has over 25 years experience on treating musculoskeletal disorders. His therapeutic methods include acupuncture, Tuina massage, cupping, electric stimulation etc. He believes in a systemic therapy on soft tissue injuries. This type of therapy requires a complete and accurate diagnosis, a holistic therapeutic strategy, and proper exercises. Based on this essential understanding, Dr. Song developed his own Structure-based Systematic Strategy. It has been approved effective. Dr. Song is a registered vendor of ICBC and provides pre-authorized acupuncture treatments for MVA related injuries.
Dr. Song is also a joined interpreter of three books: Fascial Manipulation for Internal Dysfunctions, Fascial Manipulation for Musculoskeletal Pain - Theoretical part, and Palpation and Assessment in Manual Therapy.
Dr. Song enjoys on helping people to get rid of pain and motion dysfunctions.
