I am currently an Associate Professor of Marketing in the Department of Business at the Anatolia American University. My academic path began with my BA in Economics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I further honed my expertise by earning an MSc in Marketing with distinction from the University of Stirling in Scotland, and finally, I returned to Aristotle University to complete my Ph.D. in Marketing. My doctoral dissertation explored the unique intersection of spaces, emotions, and the customer experience, specifically looking at museums as "brandscapes". After the completion of my studies, I have earned significant research and teaching experience in various Academic Institutions, including the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the University of Macedonia, the Cyprus University of Technology, and the University of Western Macedonia where I served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication and Digital Media.
Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to producing impactful, relevant research. In 2021, I received the Best Paper Award from the University of Western Macedonia for collaborative research analyzing gender differences in politicians' Facebook campaigns and voter engagement. In 2018, my research partners and I secured a research grant for post-doctoral research at the University of Macedonia, examining how biometric tools can enhance our understanding of emotional responses in Advertising. My dedication to academic excellence was also acknowledged earlier in my journey with a 2012 doctoral scholarship from the Aristotle University Research Committee.
