Day 3 - 6 Nov 2025
The third day began with morning water activities. The group enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves, followed by a refreshing swim and a thrilling jump off the boat during the boomnet activity. After lunch, students participated in the coconut experience. They learned about the various uses of the coconut tree, tasted the fruit, tried climbing a tree, and learned to make both ketupat and pepes. The day concluded with a festive bonfire party, complete with toasting marshmallows and singing songs with a view of a full moon.
Day 2 - 5 Nov 2025
Our travels led us north to Pengudang for a day dedicated to ecological learning and action. We gained valuable insights into the importance of mangrove trees during a mangrove boat tour, then enjoyed a short hike to the beach. In the afternoon, we made a tangible contribution by planting two mangrove saplings apiece along the coastline. The day concluded with an eco farm tour, where we planted spring onions and banana trees and harvested long beans. It was an extended and deeply meaningful experience, allowing us to play a small part in preserving the mangroves and supporting local farming.
Day 1 - 4 Nov 2025
We arrived at Loola for lunch and the day's activities after checking into the hotel. The activities today are rock climbing, skywalk and flying fox. Many students enjoyed the activities, especially the flying fox and some challenged their fear of heights! The students also played recreational games during the break times in between such as Archery, Football and Congkak.Â
