Mark Ahlman

Entrepreneurship Teacher, Asheville High School

Mark comes to us from over 25 years in multiple functional and leadership roles across various industries, including manufacturing, customer service, healthcare, federal, paper, consulting, and financial.  Additionally Mark has designed corporate curriculums and delivered over 2000 hours of training and served as an Adjunct college professor for 5 years. With experience in starting a business and working through all facets of multiple organizations, Mark brings a history of experiences and knowledge into the classroom to make it an engaging, empathetic, and inclusive environment. 

Mark graduated from Newman University in Wichita Kansas while serving as a medic in the United States Airforce. Shortly after separating from active duty Mark finished his Master's in Business Administration from Wichita State University.  Mark hails from Michigan's upper peninsula and moved to Asheville in 2023 after residing in several different parts of the country. It has been a lifetime goal to teach highschool.

When not in the classroom, Mark enjoys live music, time with friends and family, and rebuilding his 1961 Nash Metropolitan.
