Career and Technical Education Director, Asheville High School

Originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, I’m proud to be entering my 36th year in education—a journey that began with teaching high school Family & Consumer Sciences. Since then, I’ve worn many hats: counselor, school administrator, high school career coach, and now Career and Technical Education Director. What drew me to CTE was the chance to help students connect their passions with real-world skills and purposeful careers. When I’m not championing student success, you’ll find me spending time with my favorite person—my daughter—or binge-watching K-dramas. Fun fact: I’m the youngest daughter in my family and the reigning snack queen during drama marathons!
