STEAM Studios

Recap!

STEAM Studios are heating Up!

Culinary students familiarized themselves with kitchen tools and organized their space for upcoming meal preparation.

Science students used a budget to determine which items they were able to purchase, studied Newton's Law of Inertia to help their egg withstand the force imposed upon it by the ground, then dropped their eggs from various heights to see if they would survive!

Students made various creations in our updated Fine Arts Studio!

Coding students wrote code to create apps using The App Lab on code.org. They also participated in various "HOUR of Code" activities.

The New and Improved Fine Arts Studio is Open!

We are pleased to announce that our Fine Arts Studio has been expanded, and offers a sewing machine, vinyl machine, heat press, and jewelry-making tools just to name a few! Because we service so many students, many items will need to be replenished regularly. We have compiled a wish list of items for all studios that we can ALWAYS use more of If you would like to donate.

Please know that students WILL NOT be penalized for work they have been unable to access, and we will make every necessary accommodation to ensure that students are successful in their studies here at ARS.
