Canon Vixia HF G20 - Manual settings
Manual Settings (there doesn't seem to be full manual for this model - argh)
Turn camera on and Ensure "M" selected (not "AUTO" or "CINEMA")
Tap "Rec. Programs" and set to "P".
Tap the "X" to close the window
Tap "FUNC." on the display touchscreen again (top left)
Set AGC to "A"
Set "White Balance" to "Tungsten" if filming in a theatre
Set Exposure to "Manual Exposure" (SET THIS LAST IF YOU WANT MANUAL CONTROL WHILE FILMING)
Finally, tap the "M" on the left side of the screen to activate it. You should have a "+/-" window in the bottom right. You can tap it while recording to make aperture adjustments.
You MUST do it in the order above as the last setting is saved in the bottom right window. Crazy.
